Where It StartedFamily entertainment app — create and send yourself a text from a celebrity or fictional character. The project that started it all and where every pattern, tool, and lesson we've built since was born.

CiteWise
ActiveCiteWise turns fragmented source material into governed, citation-backed knowledge. What started as a Google Spreadsheet of 1,200 soldiers who crossed the Delaware River on Christmas night, 1776, evolved into a domain-agnostic research collaboration platform. A fully generic entity-attribute-value core models any field — soldiers and battles, artifacts, documents, or genealogy — with no code changes, pairing AI-assisted extraction with human-in-the-loop review. Live at Washington Crossing Historic Park for the DAR and Park Foundation, with a public kiosk for visitor ancestor search.
Research Platform
Flexible Entity-Attribute-Value architecture for modeling people, units, engagements, and sources. Facts carry their own citations, page numbers, temporal validity, and audit history — preserving not just what is known, but why it is believed. Built on PHP 8.3 (PSR-4) and MySQL full-text search, with PHPUnit and Playwright suites and CI/CD that replays migrations on every deploy.
AI-Assisted Curation
OCR and AI-assisted extraction pipeline for historical documents. Candidate facts are compared against existing records, flagged for discrepancies, and routed to human curators for review before anything enters the approved knowledge base.
Collaboration Tools
Researcher workflows for notes, @mentions, watch lists, role-based edits, change approvals, and merge review, plus data-quality scoring and interactive chain-of-command and geographic-origin visualizations. Multi-tenant from the ground up: organizations to projects to entities.
SeeDingRun
Coming SoonA smart-collar fitness platform for dogs — long-term health and activity tracking that actually remembers. Fi (TryFi) collars collect a rich daily stream of steps, sleep, rest, and neighborhood pack rankings, but the Fi app only ever surfaces the last 30 days. SeeDingRun ingests that data and stores it permanently, giving owners year-over-year trends, a complete activity record, and the one thing no one else explains: the story behind their dog's pack ranking. Built provider-agnostic and multi-pet, multi-household from the ground up, as part of the Kobumura App Stack.
Full History, Kept
Fi shows the last 30 days and throws the rest away. SeeDingRun captures the daily stream of steps, sleep, and activity and stores it permanently — turning a rolling month into a full year-plus of trends you can actually look back on.
Rankings Decoded
Fi reports a dog's neighborhood pack ranking as a bare number — no history, no formula, no explanation. SeeDingRun tracks standings over time and decodes the story behind them, so owners finally understand their dog's competitive position.
Provider-Agnostic Platform
Built on Fi today, with other collars next — multi-pet and multi-household from the ground up. Part of the Kobumura App Stack, sharing the same infrastructure, pipelines, and monitoring as every other product.
